Dr. Mariam Salisu is a Harvard Trained physician who is associated with with various hospitals in the region. She is acknowledged for using a personalized approach to improve her patients’ wellness and pain as well as women’s health. She has built an impeccable career, dedicated to helping patients find a minimally invasive solution to lower extremity venous discomfort.

A Path of Excellence

Dr. Salisu began her distinguished medical career at the George Washington School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree while also obtaining a Masters in Public Health. She then completed her residency training in anesthesiology at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Her pursuit of excellence led her to Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, home to one of the nation’s top pain medicine fellowship programs. It was here that Dr. Salisu became an expert in advanced interventional pain management, equipping her with the specialized skills needed to treat a wide range of complex chronic pain conditions.
