Dr. Orhurhu received his medical degree from Mayo Medical School and completed postgraduate training at Harvard-affiliated hospitals, including a General Surgery internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an Anesthesiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and a Chronic Pain Medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
He holds a Master of Public Health from Harvard University, with advanced training in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis. Dr. Orhurhu has authored over 180 peer-reviewed publications and multiple book chapters in anesthesiology and interventional pain medicine. His work has appeared in leading journals such as JAMA, The Spine Journal, Neurol Neuroimmunol Neuroinflamm, Anesthesia & Analgesia, Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, Pain Medicine, Pain Physician and others.
