Non-Invasive Options First
We start with non-invasive and conservative care whenever it fits, such as activity changes and guided exercise. When more is needed, many options, including injections, nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation, offer non-opioid relief without surgery.
Modern Pain Treatments
Our team offers newer options such as basivertebral nerve ablation, the MILD® procedure and spinal cord stimulation, alongside proven injections. Your provider explains whether any of these fits your diagnosis and what results to realistically expect.
Short Recovery for Many Patients
Most injections and nerve procedures are done in the office, and many patients go home the same day. Recovery depends on the procedure and your health, and your provider will explain activity and driving guidance before you book.
Understanding Where Your Pain Comes From
Back and neck pain can start in several different places, and each one is treated differently. Knowing the source is the first step toward the right care.
Disc Pain
The soft discs between your vertebrae can bulge or tear with age or strain. When a disc presses on a nearby nerve, it can cause sharp pain that may travel into an arm or leg. Epidural injections are one common option.
Joint Pain in the Spine
Small facet joints along the back of the spine can wear down from arthritis, causing a deep ache that’s often worse when twisting or leaning back. Nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation can target these joints.
Nerve Pain
An irritated or damaged nerve can cause burning, tingling or numbness, as with sciatica or neuropathy. Finding which nerve is involved helps your provider choose the most suitable treatment.
Bone and Fracture Pain
In some older adults, weakened bones can lead to spinal compression fractures that cause sudden back pain. Imaging confirms the problem, and procedures such as kyphoplasty may be considered.
How Our Pain Treatment Team Works With You

Back pain, neck pain, sciatica, joint pain, or arthritis-related pain your evaluation follows your actual symptoms, not a generic checklist.

From epidural injections to radiofrequency ablation, more targeted treatments are available when your evaluation supports them not offered as a default first step.
Experienced, board-certified team
You’ll be seen by board-certified providers focused on personalized, evaluation-based care.

I'm going to say Dr. O is a miracle worker. I have two herniated discs in my neck and the pain was so severe, I had to roll out of bed some days. I went to see Dr. O and was scheduled for an injection in my neck. The first injection helped a little bit, but I was still in severe pain most days. Speaking to other people, it normally takes two injections so I went from my second injection with Dr. O. Oh, and by the way, he squeezed me in the very next day for the procedure. I have not felt this good in a very long time. I can actually sit in a chair without my neck throbbing from pain and I've even started taking better care of my vegetable garden in my yard. Like I said this man is a miracle worker. Love, love, love him and I highly recommend him. Oh, and all of his staff are extremely friendly, patient, and very empathetic to their patients.Posted on Google![]()

I have been a patient of Dr. Orhurhu for over a year and the care he has given me has been exceptional. I had a compound fracture of my L2 vertebrae in May 2024 and he performed a Kyphoplasty in his office with wonderful results. I still have issues with my back due to scoliosis and bulgeing discs that impinge on my spine. Dr.O suggested ablation therpy on my low back along with 4 epidural injections with 2 more to come this week. But I have great faith in Dr. Orhurhu that I will be improving under his excellent care and guidance.Posted on Google![]()

FAQ
Our team evaluates back pain, neck pain, sciatica, arthritis, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spinal compression fractures and nerve pain such as neuropathy.
It depends on your insurance plan. Some plans require a primary care referral before a specialist visit, and others don’t. Our team checks your plan’s rules when you request an appointment.
Non-invasive options include physical therapy, home exercise, posture and activity changes, and medication guidance. Your provider usually tries these first before discussing injections or other procedures.
Yes. Many of our treatments, such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation and joint injections, work directly on the source of pain without relying on opioid medication.
Back pain care often starts with conservative options. If pain continues, your provider may discuss epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation, basivertebral nerve ablation or, for compression fractures, kyphoplasty, depending on the cause.
Yes, our providers evaluate nerve pain, including burning, tingling or numbness in the hands, feet or legs. Treatment depends on the cause and is discussed after your evaluation.
Yes. Many of our patients are seniors dealing with arthritis, spinal stenosis or compression fractures. Options such as the MILD® procedure or kyphoplasty may be considered when your evaluation supports them.
Physical therapy is often recommended before or after a procedure to build strength and flexibility. Your provider will tell you whether it fits your plan and can coordinate with a therapist near you.
Many plans, including Medicare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield, cover pain care when it’s medically necessary. Some procedures need prior authorization. Verification helps but doesn’t guarantee payment.
Look for board-certified providers, an evaluation before any treatment is recommended, a range of non-surgical options and clear answers about insurance. A convenient location also matters when travel is painful.
You can request an appointment online or call (610) 936-8214. Our team will confirm your visit, check your coverage and tell you what to bring. Availability varies, so calling is the fastest way to find the next open time.
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card and a list of current medications. If you have MRI or X-ray reports, bring those too, along with a list of treatments you’ve already tried.
